Often medication is a very important part of overall treatment.  However, medications provide limited relief.  Approximately 40-60% of the people who take them respond well. This leave a significant number of patients still suffering with significant symptoms. Within the last 20 years a new approach, called Neurofeedback, has begun to offer symptom relief to a larger percentage of users - approxiamtely 75-80% of users of Neurofeedback see a significant decrease in symptoms or a complete elimination of their complaints. As Neurofeedback is completely non-invasive there are minimal side effects and more typically there are none. Current research shows that the relief gained lasts up to 40 years.

How Does Neurofeedback Therapy Work?

 First, you will have an assessment with your provider to determine a starting point. During your first visit we will discuss your concerns in depth, and mutually decide what the best approaches are for addressing them. Then you will begin your course of treatment with sessions at least twice a week. A typical course of Neurofeedback will require between 20 - 40 sessions. Superbills are gladly provided for clients to present to their insurance company for reimbursement.
